After your request for a sketch is submitted we will email you a sketch based on the design elements you have chosen and the information you provide. If you would like any changes to be made to the sketch, let us know and we will make the requested changes and resend the sketch for your approval. As soon as a sketch is confirmed we will begin cutting the glass and arranging the mosaic to be laid. Before a design is set in stone we send a final photo of the actual design in glass for you to confirm or request changes. Only upon final confirmation will we then set the mosaic in stone.
We do not begin the process of cutting glass or stone prior to your full satisfaction and confirmation that a sketch has been approved. We only request payment once a sketch has been approved. Although we make every effort for the sketch and the actual design to be as accurate as possible, this is a handmade product and there may be slight variations in the cut and/or color of the glass and/or grout surrounding the glass. For this reason, we send a final photo for your review of the cut glass and stone before everything is set in stone. We will, in any instance, refund 100% of cost of purchase if we are unable to create a design that meets your satisfaction. In addition, many cemeteries will require design approval as standard procedure. Again, in any instance, if the design does not meet the cemetery approval and we are unable to make changes that will allow the stone to be placed we will refund you 100% of the purchase price.
Please check with your cemetery prior to purchase for any restrictions regarding monuments for your particular plot. Do not purchase a stone prior to this step! We will not offer a full refund once we have finalized/set the glass. Most cemeteries will have restrictions on markers and monuments that range from type and size, including thickness, and often can include color, designs, finishes and more. You will need to function as the contact person with the cemetery and make sure you understand the type of stone you are looking at will meet their requirements. Please contact them for this guidance prior to purchasing a stone.
The setting or placement of the stone will be your responsibility. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for more information regarding the setting of a stone.
This stone comes with a warranty. Please see our Warranty page for further details.
